Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS) is one of Vermont's largest community mental health centers, providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to adults and children in Windham and Windsor counties.

The Client

Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS) is one of Vermont's largest community mental health centers, providing mental health and substance abuse treatment to adults and children in Windham and Windsor counties. The organization had grown significantly through the years and was about to open a new green facility in Springfield, Vermont. HCRS wished to update their web presence to reflect their new brand to the community. They also wanted a site that was easy to update and did not require involvement of the IT department to make simple changes, such as editing and posting news releases.

The Solution

Working with Focused Consulting LLC (one of the companies combined in forming 4Web) and Meg McCarthy, HCRS developed a simple, clean interface to their website. Much of the old jargon on the site was reduced and minimized in the new copy writing. The site uses the Joomla!™ Content Management System for making the easy updates, and HCRS updates the site regularly with new news items. The design is warm and welcoming, incorporating branding elements from their brochures and other print publications.
